Hunter Icc Controller Timers Provide The Ultimate In Flexibility And Durability

The Hunter ICC Controller timers are the landscape and irrigation contractor’s best choice for managing large commercial and residential landscapes. The modular capacity of these systems lets contractors expand the controllers as the need arises, rather than building a gigantic system that may or may not be used to its full capacity. These control systems are best for larger irrigation installations. Their capacity and cost makes them better for a commercial property.

Build a System in Modules
Sometimes, at the beginning of an irrigation design, it is difficult to know exactly what will be needed to maintain the final landscape. That is what makes the Hunter ICC Controller Timers great. This series is Hunter’s modular system, and can be added to in four or eight station increments. These controllers can handle up to 48 stations, and a variety of different cabinets and pedestals allow for any number of stations to be efficiently controlled. An additional benefit for contractors is that modules allow for stock control. Contractors don’t have to stock a wide variety of different controllers, but can, instead stock modules that will go in any cabinet or pedestal.

Weather Resistant-Inside and Out
As important as flexibility is for a large-scale irrigation controller, weather resistance is equally important. Commercial landscapes take a beating from the public, and the irrigation system plays a large part in keeping those landscapes in peak shape all year long. Hunter ICC Controller Timers have superior weather resistance, inside the controller with electrical wiring and circuitry, and outside with weather-resistant cabinets. Each plastic pedestal for the control timer cabinets are certified to meet UL and CE requirements for weather and corrosion resistance. Additionally, the cabinets and pedestals are UV resistant. Inside the control panels, the Hunter ICC controllers have advanced surge protection. Metal Oxide Varistors, or MOVs shunt electrical strikes and surges away from the control panel and protect microcircuits from minor power surges.

Program Versatility for Plant Health
Not every plant has the same watering needs. Factors such as the amount of sun or shade in the area, wind exposure, and plant characteristics make a difference in the amount of water each plant or area of lawn will need. Large commercial landscapes are even more complicated than residential landscapes. Versatile program options are essential for maximum efficiency of water use. Hunter ICC controller timers allow for four separate programs, each with separate day cycles and eight start times. Two programs can run concurrently.

Convenience for Contractors and Landscape Irrigation Specialists
When installing and maintaining a complex irrigation system, automatic sensors and diagnostics to aid with troubleshooting save valuable time. The self-diagnostic circuit breaker automatically skips shorted stations and continues to water the other stations until a contractor can get to the system and repair it. The Hunter Quick Check and Test Program features help diagnose problems and identify valve/station matches. The ICC control timers work with SRR and ICR Remote control features, allowing remote programming and maintenance. The 100 year memory keeps default programs and contractor installed programs set in the event of a power failure, or vandalism.

For large scale commercial landscapes, the Hunter ICC Controller Timers provide professional performance and durability for the long-term.
