For those who are really bankrupt and in urgent need of some emergency funds, getting funds through Western Union is one of the best things that one can do today. A quick way to get cash especially for times when you are most in need, a western union money transfer can really be a lifesaver in a number of cases. This is a fact, as I had to use it before. The first time that I got a Western Union money wire was several years ago. Six years ago to be precise. I was far-off, on vacation in England. I was staying there for 2 months and backpacking across the country.

At that time, I did not have a care in the world. Before I fell on hard times and needed to get my Western Union money order, I was really footloose and fancy free, as the saying goes. I was a student then on summer vacation, and wanted to see a bit of the world since I was youthful and in a lively mood. I was hiking across the British Isles with nothing but my backpack and my dreams.

That is, until misfortune struck. I was in a hospital lying with a broken leg up. I had slid down a hill and fractured it quite badly. After that I had gotten a fever. I had very little money with me, and the additional stay was costing me. But in reality that was not the real problem. Because of the fever I had missed my flight, and the airline would not reimburse the money or do anything to help me out. That is the reason why I needed the Western Union money transfer. I wonder how I would get home again if I did not have my mom wire me Western Union money. Luckily, she did give me the Western Union money transfer, and I got home safe and sound. I was in such a high spirits when I was on the plane back home. I knew that I would soon be setting foot on my much-loved native soil, and that my leg was almost completely healed.

I am grateful for the Western Union money transfer; a major problem like my broken leg did not become that much worse from the inconvenience of being stranded. It really could have been worse, but it was not after all. Especially for times of emergencies, it is good that Western Union money transfers are there as an option.
