Successful Trend Following in Commodity Trading

The question is do you want to be a winner in the commodity trading arena? Trend following in any arena, especially the commodity trading arena is not easy. Commodity trading probably has to be the hardest easiest thing to do. Trend Following makes this somewhat easier if you have the characteristics of patience, discipline and that you can take responsibility for yourself. Even though one would like to be a winner in commodity trading, the fact is that commodity trading is not everyone. There are so many attributes and characteristics of a winner in the commodity trading markets. Firstly, One must park his/her ego. There is no such thing as being right, the commodities trend is right. Your opinions mean absolutely nothing. You can work hard do all the right things and lose money. Yes, this is a very strange business. Winners in the commodity trading field simply want to win. There is no being right, there is no need for recognition and funny enough winners in the commodity trading field aren’t chasing money… They are chasing winning. They just want to follow their rules of their commodity trading systems, be patient and disciplined and they know over time they will win. Successful commodity trading advisors have an edge. Successful commodity trading advisors know they do not need make money every month. Commodity trading advisors know that they will not have a steady earnings stream month in and out. Successful commodity trading advisors know and expect to have down years that can be drawn out for long periods of times ( yes, even two years) and then have a year they are up 75% or even 115%. If they quit at the end of the second year they will loose money and not participate in one year that was triple digit profits…

Look at this example of commodity trading advisor who is a trend follower.

If you want to be a winner in commodity trading and compound your way to wealth, You have a choice…You can trade yourself if you have the discipline and patience to run a mechanical trading system… or invest with a trend following commodity trading advisor.
In both cases you will need discipline…patience to succeed…the choice is yours…
