When we meet a poor Indian?
When we meet a poor Indian and ask him as to why he had been left behind when all are going ahead, then his simple answer comes," Government does not help us" or he shall say," God had written a bad luck for him". It clearly means the people of India are not accepting their own wrong and faults because of which they have been left behind and could not achieve success.
The people of India are religious people and therefore, as and when they are in trouble, they may be taking some steps to come out of those troubles, but they shall add their prayers too and they believe in prayers and they believe what they cannot do God can do for them. That is the reason, India is a country where most of the people are busy in visiting religious places, listening to religious discourses, reciting religious books performing religious ceremonies, conducting prayers and enriching the people who are helping them in these items. But still we see that the people of India are poor, illiterate, unemployed, houseless, living in huts or in mud houses, are hungry, dying of hunger, wearing rags, are weak, are ill and die at young age. It clearly means God is not listening to them and had God listened to them, they would have got all they are demanding from God through all these prayers. But is not helping them and it seems God is desiring that they should work themselves for their uplift and they should not depend upon prayers and prayers alone.
The people of India are also desiring help from Government side and it is on record that Government helps them by giving to their children fee concession, free books, free stationery items, mid day meal and some time they give to them warm clothes or the like and the state thinks they are helping them. But these helps rendered from the side of the state would not convert them rich nor they shall grow rich because these helps are in no way improving their lot.
The people of India are not understanding that help from the side of God and help from the side of the state shall not improve their lot and ultimately they shall have to improve themselves with their own efforts. They shall have to earn more and more money so that they could be able to send their wards to schools, to colleges and then to training institutions and then they shall be able to have a paying work or occupation for them. These are the duties of the house itself and no outsider shall be able to give them all these helps. Therefore, time has come when the people of India should have an introspection and they must see that they are earning and they are earning and meeting the rising prices. For some time they should believe in their own strength and power and they should avoid dependency on God and on the state and they must see that these two institutions are not coming in their way. They had been suffering since generations and therefore, they should stop suffering and they must make it sure that their next generation shall not suffer. They shall make it sure that what they themselves had been suffering, their next generation shall not face the same difficulties.
