When We Purchase a Lottery Ticket

When we purchase a lottery ticket.

Most of us purchase a lottery ticket and we all know that till the results are out, we do not have peace of mind. We want that the result should be in our favour and at the same time we are planning as to how we shall be investing the money so receive in prize. When we have got a hope that we shall win, we are happy and when we think that the result could be otherwise, we are sand and under pressure and at times we are even against God who is not listening to our prayer and is not giving us the first prize in crore or in lakhs.
The lottery prize could be in our favour and hoping such a result, we purchase tickets. Sometime we meat foretellers and try to find out the result. We remain under pressure till the result is out. We are facing all these hardships, all these worries, all these pressures and all these tensions only because that we have got a hope of our victory. We have prayed before God time and again, we had been doing good works during this waiting period just to have result in our favour, we had been giving alms to the beggars so that they may pray or bless us with the victory in lottery result. But still we are not hundred per cent sure that we shall win and therefore, this waiting period is bringing us happiness and also sadness and at times we become owner of crore and at time we become just a poor man.
We are not leaving this habit of purchasing lottery tickets, because we still believe that one day God shall listen to us and we shall win lottery of crore of rupees and we shall turn a rich person and we shall be able to live a good life. But still there is tension, there is pressure, there are worries and we do not want that some other person known to us may win the prize. We become selfish and we want that we should win and we should win the first prize and sometime we want that on each result, we should win the first prize, our name should come in news papers and in other items of media and we should become a popular person. These hopes bring further worries, pressures and tensions in our mind. We cannot save ourselves and therefore, we should bear all this and we should develop a habit in us to bear such types of contingencies which are beyond our calculation in our life.
