Fat burners have become really popular very quickly. But are they popular because they actually work or are they popular, because there are so many advertisements everywhere. The ads are always the same. A very lean fitness model or a bodybuilder is featured in the ad and they claim that the product is the secret to their great look and sixpack abs. So the poor guy or girl automatically thinks that fat burners work and they are the only way to burn fat.
The truth is that those ads are mostly misleading and often those people with incredible ripped bodies are just models and they get paid for it. The models themselves may have never even used the product. Fat burners in general have little to no effect and the best you get, is some thermogenic effect and possibly some slight appetite suppression. But in general the benefits are minimal.
For example the extract in Green Tea could increase the metabolic rate on average of some 75 calories during a period of 24 hours. You can burn 75 calories by walking your dog for 15 minutes or vacuuming for 15 minutes. Walking your dog is much better for your health then drinking a fat burner drink.
If you buy a a new fat burner for the first ,you really have no idea if it actuallt works.The advertisers can say what ever they want, but without any research, that proves the effects, it? worthless. The makers and advertisers of fat burners play so many tricks on you, that it is just incredible.
A very well known scam they pull is when a “fat burner” advertisement quotes research that a certain inredient boosts metabolism, which might be true. What they may not tell you is that all the research with positive results used a large dosage of the ingredient, which might not be cheap.The dosage of the incredient in your fat burner drink is so small, that it has no effect.
Yes, you can buy a fat burner drink, but you have to understand if it is worth all the trouble. You really don´t know if it works, what are the health risks or side effects. If some ad claims you need more than just nutrition and exercise to get lean, then they are false.
