How Can I Get Perfect Abs in A Week – The Best Advice

In society today it seems that every thing is instant.  You can get movies on demand, drive thru food, bank instantly online, get it now pay for it later furniture deals and on and on.  So it comes as no surprise that you are asking, how can I get perfect abs in a week?  I am quite surprised that people aren’t asking how to get ripped abs in 24 hours.

The painful truth and quite honest answer is that you can't.  To develop toned ab muscles and more to the point losing enough overall body fat to make your abdominal muscles visible takes time.  How much time however depends on a couple of factors.

The amount of body fat you have to start with.

The types of foods are you eating daily.

The methods of physical activity you are utilizing.

Let’s start with the amount of overall fat you have right now.  Even if you have great tummy muscles nobody will notice if they are covered with a layer of belly fat.  In order to make your stomach muscles visible you will have to get down to at least 10% body fat if not less than that.  Now when it comes to fat and belly fat in particular there are two kinds, visceral and subcutaneous.  The subcutaneous is the harder of the two to shed.  This is the type of fat that is just under the skin.

Obviously the types of food that you are fueling your body with are important.  As you already know, nutrition and exercise go hand in hand.  It is best to stick with naturally raised, organic, grass fed, meats, vegetables, fruits, nuts, whole grains, and legumes.  Man altered, processed and manipulated foods are not what you should be eating.

The third factor, physical activity or exercise is where most people go wrong.  In order to achieve the perfect six-pack you need to reduce your overall body fat.  You will not achieve your goal by doing thousands of crunches.  You do not want to do isolation exercises.  You need to do full body multi-joint routines.  These exercises will focus on large muscle groups and strengthen your core, including your abs all at once.  This is the quickest way to achieve your desired look.  You will most likely want to further your study on this subject by looking into multi-joint exercises.  These are not movements for specific body parts but rather all large muscle groups at once.
