Business, First and Coach Class - An Overview

Business class:
Business class is mostly preferred for international flights. This class provides more amenities than other class.

Boarding & Seats:
It provides different types of seats like recliner, lie-flat, flat bed and suites. They have separate boarding area and access to a upper class lounge. Seats are bigger, more comfortable, offer more leg room and can recline back further than coach seats.

Meals:
In this type of class, you can order anything to eat. You will definitely receive better meal, snacks and more beverages when compared to coach class.

Entertainment:
Some airlines will offer better audio and video on demand facility. Some airlines can supply portable DVD, Internet access and power sockets for laptops.

Attention:
In executive class you will receive more attention and perks. Some of the basic things like eye masks, toiletries, blankets and pillows will be at your disposal.

Upgrading:
There are ways to ride in business class without paying extra money. Frequent flyer miles are one of the excellent ways to pay for the comfort of the Business Class Cabin. Some airlines also provide frequent flyer upgrade when the coach cabin is full.

First class flight:
First class is at the high end which boasts comfort, luxury and style.

Cost:
This is the most expensive class. Just imagine Los Angeles-to-Singapore round trip on Singapore Airlines cost more than $11,000 in first class but only $1,100 in economy.

Lounge:
Passengers of this class can enjoy lounge facilities like complimentary food and drink, shower, get a massage, watch videos and read magazines.

Cabin:
First class is located in front of the plane with fewer seats, own restrooms and even have a bar or lounge.

Seats:
Seats are made up of leather which are wide, comfortable and can be converted to flat beds for sleeping.

Dining:
You can take dinner at your time with complimentary champagne poured on crystalware.

Coach class:
Coach class is the least expensive. Fewer facilities are provided when compared to business and first class.

Price:
Of all the seats, coach class is the least expensive.

Space:
Coach section seats more people, so space is more limited.
