These are tough times indeed for both the companies and the consumers. As per the deal, purchase of spares and management of inventory would be the responsibility of company, which has been outsourced this function by Indian airlines. This would not only bring down the manpower cost of Indian airlines but also its material costs drastically. This deal is worth several millions of dollars and would ultimately help the Airlines to cut the costs substantially. This cost optimization would finally be shifted to cheap flight availability for the consumer who could book Indian airlines ticket at low cost as they have been doing so presently.
