Get 'em or Don't Sweat 'em Week 10

There were some unusual heroes on Sunday. There always are. Let’s take a look at them and see if they are worthy of your fantasy rosters.

Jason Snelling, RB, Atlanta Falcons
Depending on how bad Michael Turner’s ankle injury will determine whether or not you’ll want to get Snelling. For now, put a waiver claim in for him, but keep a tab on Turner’s status.
Ruling:  Get ‘em.

Ladell Betts, RB, Washington Redskins
If for some reason nobody added him last week because he plays for the sorry Redskins, obviously you should snatch him up. He ran for 114 yards and a score against a once tough Broncos team.

Bernard Scott, RB, Cincinnati Bengals
Like Snelling, you’ll have to keep tabs on the RB he replaced, in this case Cedric Benson (hip). He didn’t have a great game, but he did well enough against the Steelers rugged defense.
Ruling:  Get ‘em

Michael Bush, RB, Oakland Raiders
Bush ran for 119 yards on 14 carries. He added ten yards on a couple of catches. Justin Fargas scored the TD and Darren McFadden returned. I don’t want any part of that mess down the stretch.
Ruling:  Don’t Sweat ‘em.

Justin Forsett, RB, Seattle Seahawks
Forsett ran for 123 yards with a score. He also caught five passes for 26 yards. Now here’s a RB that I’d add to my roster. I’d maybe use him as a flex play if the match-up was right.
Ruling:  Get ‘em.

Muhsin Muhammad, WR, Carolina Panthers
Moose had a nice game coming back from his knee injury, but I just don’t trust Carolina’s passing game at this point in the year to recommend him.
Ruling: Don’t Sweat ‘em.

Brandon Gibson, WR, St. Louis Rams
Gibson caught 7 passes for 93 yards against the Saints, but I just don’t trust him at this point until he shows he can do it again.
Ruling:  Don’t Sweat ‘em.

Jason Avant, WR, Philadelphia Eagles
Avant had a strong game (eight catches, 156 yards), but it was his only good game since the second week of the season. As you near the finish line, you can’t count on a guy like that.

Ruling:  Don’t Sweat ‘em.

By: Sports Betting | 20/11/2009 | Football
Making money with NFL betting means sometimes risking money on teams who appear to be “down on their luck” and the odds are stacked against them. This week in the NFL, Week 11, it looks like there will be at least six home underdogs, potentially seven, depending what number your online sportsbook puts up for San Diego at Denver…so there are plenty of opportunities to be a “dog” bettor this Sunday.
