New Fantasy Sports Website Lauched

FantasyCrowd.com officially launched their website recently. Combining social media elements along with a focus on fantasy sports, the site has quickly become a hit among fantasy sport players.

Created by a group of fantasy sport enthusiasts from Detroit with the approximate 50 million people who play fantasy sports online and the over 200 million active facebook members in mind, it's not hard to see that this endeavor is packed with potential and no wonder their slogan is:

"Got Fantasy...Join the Crowd"

Fantasycrowd.com is a website dedicated to bringing fantasy sports enthusiasts together from all over the world. A place where sports fans can interact with like-minded people who share the same passion. FantasyCrowd.com is also a forum where sports fans, league owners, players and anyone else who just loves sports can post, share, sell and advertise their passion for free.

Positioning themselves as the "facebook of fantasy sports" fantasycrowd.com features many tools that allow their members to stay informed and stay connected with each other. Their fantasy football insiders have helped thousands with their questions and hundreds win their league championships with expert tips and advice.

You can create a profile, update your status on the wire in 140 characters or less like twitter, read the blogs, make a comment, make your own blog, create a widget, create an rss feed, create a league, talk trash with other fantasy players of your caliber, enter into contests, participate in polls, create groups, get a draft kit and much more. They also feature fantasy focus weekly articles from senior writer Dave Seidl.

If you are involved with fantasy sports online you may have heard of the FantasyCrowd.com owner Dennis Robinson, especially in the many different fantasy sport blogs and forums where he is known as the FantasyInsider:

"To me, being able to help one compete and reach the pinnacle of his goals...well, that is what keeps the inside of me burning. I've helped thousands win their leagues and I want to help you too! I'll see you on the inside at FantasyCrowd.com, so look me up! Most importantly to me however, is to continue to give back to the community and more so help our children who have special needs and limitations either physically, psychologically or financially.  Working with notable foundations that reach the kids is special, very special and it is what we do!"

A portion of the proceeds at FantasyCrowd.com go to Kurt Warner's First Things First foundation, Jim Kelly's Kelly for Kids, St. Judes Hospitals, Children's Hospitals of Michigan, and the Make a Wish Foundation. They are also offering incentives for those who help bring more members. You can find more information about FantasyCrowd.com and stay connected with them by signing up for the monthly newsletter or following them on twitter @fantasycrowd1.

NCAA Football Is On-Ringside Seats Available

By: sanajai | 30/12/2009
Shortly after Boise State game ended, a humiliating loss for the 16th ranked Oregon Ducks at the hands of the 14th ranked Broncos, Boise's defensive end, Byron Hout went over to Oregon's running back, LeGarrett Blount, slapped him on the shoulder pads and said something to him that probably couldn't be printed here even if we knew his exact words. We are certain, however, that he wasn't just wishing him a safe and happy Labor Day weekend.

New Fantasy Game The Fantasy Football Apprentice!!!

By: David Seidl | 12/09/2009 | Football
I thought of a fun little game I hope the fantasy crowd will like that I call the Fantasy Apprentice. Since I always dreamed of being Donald Trump and love fantasy football so much, I figured why not combine the two? You may not have ever watched Donald Trump’s show “The Apprentice” but you have probably heard him say his famous phrase “You’re Fired”. Basically what happens is he forms two teams that compete at various tasks and he ends up firing somebody each week off of the losing team.

With fantasy drafts around the corner, sleepers are always a hot topic because if you can get some of your late round draft picks to pan out or get a great value for an underrated player it can make the difference between a championship and watching the playoffs from the sideline again.

10 Players To Target In The Mid-Rounds

By: David Seidl | 01/07/2009 | Football
In the coming months I’m sure you’ll hear a lot about studs, duds and sleepers. Here is a list of players that really don’t fall into any of those categories. These are solid players currently going in the mid rounds that if you’re aware of can allow you to be much more confident in the early rounds. You can then take advantage of the best players available because you’ll know what to expect in the rounds to come and won’t draft simply based on need. Although these aren’t all big-name players, t

The 09' All Potential Fantasy Football Team

By: David Seidl | 17/06/2009 | Football
Savvy fantasy football gm’s will have their eyes on these players who have awesome potential and value based on where they are being ranked currently. These are the players that inexperienced players will be scared to draft because they don’t know enough about them. For example, last year the owners that took a risk on Michael Turner, rookie running backs Matt Forte and Chris Johnson and using a flier in the late rounds on Kurt Warner ended up very pleased...

The 09' All Slacker Fantasy Football Team

By: David Seidl | 16/06/2009 | Football
Every year I seem to draft with somebody who doesn’t do any homework at all and basically drafts his team based on what he saw in 08’ or years past. You’ll probably see him picking up a fantasy magazine on the way to the draft and asking everybody a million questions during the draft about who is on what team now, who is injured and other things of that nature...
