Let me start this off by saying that I was and still am a big Steve McNair fan. He was one of if not THE toughest to ever play the quarterback position in the best league in the world. That is not what this story is about. This story is about the impact that the recent events have on his family. First, there is the wife. Again, by no means do I mean to put her down or belittle her, but you have to wonder how much she knew about her husband's activities outside of the home. I have seen reports that he had taken Miss Kazemi to several vacation spots and according to several other reports, he had been seen at this condo so much that people thought he lived there. Obviously if he had been to a couple of bars and just arrived at the condo between 1:30 and 2:00 a.m. he was either going to get home early that next morning or not at all. Now there are reports and I expect for there to be more that he had an affair with a stripper. About 5 years or so ago, I was on a flight with Mr. McNair and there was a lay over before we changed planes. I know I saw him get off the first plane and then he disappeared while the rest of us sat n the waiting area until boarding time. Right at boarding time, he appeared again out of nowhere, but there was a young lady with him. I gave him the benefit of the doubt at the time because I did not see what went on with them. It very well could have been just an old buddy, but for sure this meeting had been pre arranged. I still can not say either way what went on, but hearing all of this news puts doubt in my mind as to what was really going on. I also feel very sorry for his 4 sons. I wonder what they must be thinking knowing that their father has hurt their mother and was killed by a young lady not much older than them. They have to be hurting about know. Since I live less than an hour from Steve's home town, I hope to get to see his oldest Steve Jr. play football this season. I haven't heard much about the other 3, but at least they will have a lot of father figures in Steve's brothers and former team mates. Any way, my prayers are with all of the McNair family and the Kazemi family as well. May God bless all of you. NFL Week 16 Matchups, Picks and Odds
By: bryan singer | 24/12/2009It’s time to watch NFL Week 16 Picks and Odds. Well, changing my picking style did nothing for changing my luck. Another 10-6 week brought my total through 15 weeks to 142-82. This week I feel pretty strong that I will improve. I'm looking for a 13 win week! The only way I seek another average week is for teams to rest starters, or just not mentally show up for work since they did, or didn't, make the playoffs. For the most part, there are many teams who still have a shot at the playoffs, or a p
