As of 2009 Neighbor Nick’s is more than just an online gift shop. Along with the new year the company has taken a new direction by launching its first ever fundraising campaign. This campaign will air on Neighbor Nick’s website during the month of March.<br><br>
Neighbor Nick’s campaign will be run to support Ashley Miller and Teen Missions. Ashley, age 16 wishes to travel to Africa this summer to help educate the community on the import ants of religion through Sunday school. Throughout the 56 day trip she will spend there, Ashley hopes to become very involved in the African community and give a gift of knowledge to the youth of Zambia. <br><br>
However there is a major hardship in her Cinderella story. In order for Ashley to participate with Teen Missions as a part of the criteria for the trip, she must raise the money for all of the expenses from airline tickets to food and shelter. On top of this, Teen Missions is trying to raise even more money to provide shoes to the youth as well as a college education to two of Zambia’s youth.<br><br>
This is where Neighbor Nick’s will play an important role. Throughout the month of March, we will be featuring Ashley’s cause on our website. Also a portion of our online profits will be directly donated to Ashley herself. On top of this Ashley will be running a series of fundraisers in her hometown of Denton, Texas and its surrounding cities. <br><br>
So come visit us if you can and help us, as well as Ashley meet our goals. Help us send her to Zambia and enrich the lives of the youth not only through her mind, but through her heart as well.<br><br>
