I bought my first digital camera from Best Buy. A canon SD870 IS.
They sold me a case with it that has a magnet in the leather flip stile lid.
Now the LCD monitor has a smudge or bruise that lines up with the button size magnet. Can magnets harm the 3" lcd monitor, battery, or memory card? I returned to BestBuy for help, they said even though I puchased their bullet proof warranty, they couldn't send the camera in for repair because there was no serial # on the camera.
