When you are thinking of purchasing high quality self-defense products, MACE is the brand to look at. The interesting part of the story is that it was a nice late spring/early summer day just before noon. The sun was high in the brilliant sky and I was dressed “to the nines.” The whole attack took less than sixty seconds. I saw the man’s face and was able to identify him when I was taken to the police station to look at mug shots. Even though the police knew who he was, he got off scott free on a technicality. I wish I had been carrying pepper spray then (especially a key chain model, since I had my keys in my hand!), and I absolutely carry it with me now. I am not taking second chances.
At the time when I was mugged, crime wasn’t nearly as bad as it is now. Take it from me and learn from my lesson. Don’t become a victim. Look into non-lethal self-defense products now.
