Portable Air Conditioning Help Your Employees Stand the Heat

Industry studies have shown that employee efficiency falls as temperature rises. The smart business owners knows that comfortable working conditions lead to happy employees, more productivity, and greater profits.

As businesses become more automated, environmental control becomes even more important. Employees might slow down as the temperature rises, but computers and other electronics stop working completely.

Portable air conditioning saves the day

Hard as you try, you can't control everything. If your building air conditioning system fails, it might be days or weeks before it's back up and running. That could mean a crippling loss of production unless you deal with the problem quickly.

Bringing in portable air conditioners to act as spot coolers lets you keep critical areas under control. No longer limited to only the server room, air conditioning is critical throughout your business to keep employees comfortable and productive. By keeping your employees comfortable, you keep their production up and your business operating smoothly.

Rental of these portable units is quite reasonable even on a tight budget. They are easy to install and operate quietly so you can be up and running in no time.

Don't replace aging air conditioning systems

Over time a building's environmental controls may not be up to the task. It might be that there are more employees and more electronics generating heat, or it might be that the equipment doesn't operate as well as it used to. A complete replacement of your air conditioning system is a huge expense, often beyond the capacity of a business.

Instead of replacement, try supplementing your existing system with portable air conditioning. Focus cooling on critical areas like a server room or on problem areas like offices that face west and heat up in the late afternoon. Buying a few portable units is going to be cheaper than an entire rebuild of your environmental systems.

Keep things cool in the weekends

It can be tough on your employees if they are working overtime. Putting in long hours is hard enough, but often they have to do so with no air conditioning. If you own the building it isn't cost effective to cool the whole place just to keep a few overtime employees comfortable. If you are leasing space you may not even have the option as many office buildings shut off environmental controls outside of normal business hours.

Yet you have a job to do and need to support the people doing it.

Portable air conditioning lets you decide when and how you cool your work space. You can cool a single office or a huge bullpen and you can run it 24-hours a day if that's what your business needs. It puts you in control of your environment so you can provide the best conditions to get the work done.

For short term work crunches, the units can be rented. For longer term needs it is often cheaper to buy them so you will have them as needed.
