The debut of Sony Playstation 3 made it the king of all gaming console. The device is designed keeping in mind the modern gamers and of course its competitors the Xbox 360 and Nintendo Wii. The device is a little expensive but if the thrill and ecstasy please you, then why would you mind to pay such a huge premium.
The PSP 3 is a bulky device. It weighs 5 Kgs, almost as five an half playstation 2s. The look is also quite stunning. It comes with a black casing and silver highlights. A lot of powerful technology has been packed in the device too. It comes with Blu-ray drive and support for 1080p high definition (HD) video – the feature that promises the best picture quality.
The device is available in two different versions and both the versions is a treat for the gamers. There is a trick involved too. The 60GB hard disk is great for media functions like storing photos for slide shows, storing music files and storing down loadable contents like movies, demos and trailers. More, the internal hard disk is upgradeable and it is also possible to playback and store media on external USB drivers.
The Sony Playstation 3 includes controls that are wireless and feature motion-sensing technology. Perhaps the biggest advantage of the device is its Blu-ray disc drive that will play the new breed of high-definition (via HDMI output) movies. Perhaps this also proves why the handset is so expensive as compared to the others in the market.
There are some limitation as well. The PSP 3 cannot upgrade DVD movies to higher definition formats, and neither can it stream music or movies from a computer.
The graphics of this device is stunning and it is also backwards compatible with virtually every PS1 and PS2 game.
