Alloc Laminate Flooring Revolutionizing the Floor Industry

More and more homeowners these days are going for laminate flooring over solid hardwood flooring and other flooring options. This is most probably because laminate flooring can successfully mimic the classic look of traditional woods, thereby providing instant elegance minus the usual expensive cost. For the untrained eye, spotting the difference between laminate flooring and hardwoods can be a difficult task; thus, homeowners can show off their flooring and not worry about ending up looking like cheapskates. One of the most popular choices in laminate flooring is Alloc Laminate Flooring.

Another reason why many homeowners go for laminate flooring is because of the variety of effects available, from wood to stone and ceramic. In laminate flooring, what seems to be an organic, authentic wood grain patter is actually a very thin layer of photographic image in the form of décor paper held firmly by a protective film glued tight to a heavy and thick backing board. There are a number of designs that said photographic image can have. Thanks to continuous advancements in architectural and interior design technology, homeowners are given the freedom to choose whatever pattern or effect goes well with their furniture, walls, and the overall feel of their homes.

Finally, homeowners go for laminate flooring because unlike other flooring options, it is easy to install. Homeowners need not wait for weeks or even months to enjoy their newly worked floors. The name that made easy installation of laminate flooring possible is Alloc, the company that revolutionized the floor industry when they came up with the first-ever locking system in 1996.

Alloc has been around for almost two decades now – 16 years, in fact. It was in 1992 when the company joined the industry and started producing what experts considered as some of the very best quality high-pressure laminate floors in the market. Just four years later, the company introduced a locking system that made laying laminate floors without the use of glue not just possible but easy and efficient as well. Using geographical lingo, this breakthrough innovation put laminate flooring on the map. Soon after, manufacturers of laminate floors followed Alloc’s lead. The rest is history. There are now several brands of laminate floors that all use the principle of the original locking system created by the geniuses at Alloc.

Laminate floors that can be easily installed because of a locking system can also be easily uninstalled in case of repairs and cleaning purposes. Naturally, like any other flooring option, laminate flooring needs to be taken care of on a regular basis in order for it to last a long time. Homeowners will have no trouble in the maintenance of laminate floors. All the layers of laminate floors (there are usually four of them, namely the wear layer, the decorative layer, the core layer, and the protective layer) can be saved from any irreparable damage, such as deep-seated dirt and dust, heavy stains, scratches, and others. Alloc Laminate Flooring and other trusted names in the laminate flooring industry can be relied on for floors that are beautiful, classy, reasonably priced, easy to install, and even easier to maintain.
