I recently shifted to an all-organic diet to protect my health. Studies have proven that the food that we eat everyday have a very high effect in our health. There are a lot of illnesses that were being aggravated by eating food that are heavily-laden with chemicals from pesticides and inorganic fertilizers. However, the scarcity of organically-grown fruits and vegetables in my area has led me to put up my organic garden where I could raise most of the things that I eat.

This is because many people are still heavily entrenched in the conventional farming methods that have been practiced for many years. Although there are some organically-grown food products in my area, these are usually a little bit expensive due to the fact that there is limited supply.
At first, I found out that having your own organic garden is not easy. Having not been gifted with a green thumb, I was having difficulty in growing my own plants. But this didn’t discourage me in continuing my new quest. This has led me to Jeff Serland’s website on organic farming. He has already been cultivating his own organic garden for about 17 years.
Jeff had documented this vast experience on organic farming in the ebook, My Organic Garden, to share it to people like me who wanted to follow a healthy lifestyle but is being hindered by lack or expensive organic farm products. It guided me every step of the way from soil preparation up to controlling pests and weeds the natural way.
After reading that ebook, I then realized that it is not really hard at all to raise your own organic food and follow a healthy organic lifestyle. All it takes is dedication, hardwork and commitment in growing healthy food for your own healthy body.
