Residential Landscaping Landscape Maintenance Services

The guy that is cutting your grass that has grown too tall is changing the landscape so he is a landscaper.

We are providing a service here in the Los Angeles and San Fernando Valley area where in we are remove an old dead or dieing lawns from the landscape, prep the soil in order that it can support a new lawn, and then install a new lawn in the landscape. The preparation of the soil in order to support the new lawn to ensure that it remains a desirable lawn in the future is the key to why I am the best choice when choosing a service company.

What we do that is different in preparing the soil is that I use Composted Horse Manure and Roto Till that Composted Horse Manure into the existing soil. Composted Horse Manure is basically the digested vegetarian diet of a horse that has been handled in such a way so that it has had a chance to Compost and break down. Composted Horse Manure is still though organic matter, and it’s really a great idea to introduce organic matter into the soil. Introducing organic matter into the soil gives the beneficial earthworms something to eat, if earthworms have a good supply of organic matter to eat they begin to multiply and create colonies of earthworms, and if earthworms are eating they are also digesting and expelling their waste into the soil. Earthworm manure is the best stuff that money can buy as far as fertilizing your soil, so everyone wants more earthworms in their soil in the landscaping process and we are providing landscaping services.

Besides that Organic matter binds sandy soils and also breaks up clay soils. Introducing organic matter into your soil creates ways for your soil to absorb water and retain water, so it helps with conserving water. Did you know that 100 lbs of dry compost can absorb and retain 195 lbs of water? Everyone wants soil that drains well, but also retains water; well that’s what organic matter does for your soil. It also creates passages for air to be exchanged so that your soils can breeth. If any one is looking for ways to contribute to your soil for long term sustainable results you are now a horticulturist or even a permaculturist, so we guess we are more than just a landscaper and providing a landscaping services especially we worked for residential landscaping services, we are also a horticulturist and permaculturist. We think its just basic good common sense; farmers have been doing this to their fields for eons.

Competitors are all cutting corners though and just spreading man made petroleum based nitrate and phosphate fertilizer pellets, which has the same short term affect of greening things up, but it’s of a short term benefit and has to be done on a continual basis to maintain that greening affect so its not considered sustainable, but its quick and easy and cost effective for them to just spread it around and create a momentary green affect. I don’t think this is how I would want my lawn treated and so this is not how I treat your lawn.
