Nike, is considered as an all time, all generation brand of sneakers, that released a sneaker variety “The Air Force Ones” in the year 1982. Still shining with its beguiling charm in the athletic shoe industry since its launch dated nearly 25 years back. Interestingly this shoe was named after the plane Air Force One, which carries the President of the United States.

Fortunately in this year the Hip Hop culture was very popular that enhanced the popularity of these shoes because this shoe was mostly preferred by the Hippies. Since this Hip Hop culture was commonly associated with the people of New York and the people sporting basketball therefore Air Force Ones became popular among all the people.

History tells us that the popularity of Air Force Ones gave birth to another variety in 1985 by Nike which they named as the Air Jordan. Nike Air Jordan owes it popularity to the famous basketball player Michael Jordan although Michael Jordan never preferred this brand but he gave Nike idea to launch a new series of shoes called Air Jordan and the rest is history. The conventional trend of white shoes for basketball was replaced with bold red and black colors for its shoes that made the shoe look bold and beautiful. Many versions including celebrity exclusives, special holiday shoes and limited color ways was launched by Nike. A wide array of shoes ranging from low top to mid top and high top is present in this variety of Nike shoes. And most surprisingly every version that Nike created were unique both in their style and function and each version was different from the previous one.

That which was started off with basketball shoes was later endorsed in many other products as well like sneakers, casual footwear, exclusive wears, women's wear, men's wear, children's wear, bags, accessories and many such things is none other than Air Jordan. The ever increasing popularity for both brands of Nike can be seen clearly by looking at the population waiting anxiously for the new launches, the varieties, the sale, auctions etc. You can make your purchase from the different online stores which sell used, new, rare, and many other varieties of these shoes that you have great choices that not only matches your taste but also your pocket.
