Playing house, I'm sure it is one of all little girl's favorite games. That was the first reason for my interest in the Kidkraft Retro Kitchen And Refrigerator In Pink. What little girl will not love have a big enough play kitchen so that she can play in it with her friends?
I know, the retro part of the set is for mom and dad. It looks just like the kitchen we all grew up in! Still, any little girl will love it. The appliances in the kitchen is so life like and the knobs actually work. So, you can imagine your little girl spending many happy hours in her "kitchen!"
Well, I know that still does not say too much about why I love it. I love because both my granddaughters love it. Cooking in the play kitchen is one of their great loves. Even though the one is three and the other six, they still both love it. The other night the six year old actually turned it into a hospital kitchen with my husband being the patient that had to eat all the time!
What is also very nice is that it looks great as a piece of furniture in the playroom. It will even look good in a little girl's bedroom. If her bedroom décor is in pink you can think how pretty it all will look. I know it is old fashioned, but I still see "pink" when I think of little girls, maybe because I only had two sons and now I enjoy the granddaughters so much. So, please indulge me a little!
Now after all this rambling I have to get back to what I actually wanted to say to you, the set is very strong and it can really get five stars for durability. When it has to last for such a long time, as seen by the difference in ages of my granddaughters, that is very important.
