How to choose your career:

First determine what your talents are. Pay close attention to what people say you are good at. Second determine what your interests are. What kind of hobbies do you have? Are you introverted or extroverted? Ask yourself as many questions as possible to get the greatest compass to where you want to go in life.

Pick up a book on employment patterns to see if the career you are interested in has a bright future. Get a wide spectrum of knowledge about various career fields, the more you can compare and contrast the better.

Only do what you want to do. Don't base your goals on what your parents want or even what society values. You will only excel at that which you are interested in.

Become the best you can be at your particular niche. Specialize in your field, become a recognized expert at what you do. This is how you create value.

Take time each month to see if your career goals are going the way you want them to. Often our life experiences change our paradigm of the world and our career goals drastically change.

Know that everything fits into this world. There is order in what appears to be chaos. Have the conviction that you will find the perfect fit for you. You will succeed!

Here are a few surefire ways to have a more successful life:

1. Know that you are completely responsible for every aspect of your life.

2. Have the conviction that world is out to do you good.

3. Know that what you give to this world is what you get back.

4. Every day is an opportunity to improve some aspect of your life.

5. Make sure your goals and values are congruent with each other.

6. Mentally repeat the phrase "health, wealth, success" throughout the day.

7. Take time out of each day to make sure you are on the right path.

8. Love yourself and others will love you.

9. Exercise to improve health and reduce stress

10. Go the extra mile in providing a better product or service

11. Visualize your goals as if they have already happened.

One call, Three weeks...
By: Nes | 17-08-2008
So, my girlfriend and I live together in California and she recently went to Mexico with her parents and brothers for approximately 3 weeks. Throughout the entire time she was there didn't bother to call me or send me an e-mail. The last day she was there she sent me an e-mail basically blaming me for not e-mailing her and how i showed that i didn't miss her. She said this even though she knew that I had no number to contact her and I left her comments on myspace telling her how much i missed her! Well, she is back but i am still doubting the fact that she couldn't go to a calling center and calling me really quick.... Any help?
