Biomechanics of the Golf Swing, a Direct Result of Proper Golf Gear

Is having a three hundred dollar club, making you a better golfer? Of course not that is not what I am saying at all. What about having a box of forty--dollar golf balls cutting your handicap by 10 strokes. Again the answer is no.

However having great golf gear is important because some clubs offer things like a bigger better sweet spot, or some golf balls fly straighter then other. So having good gear can make you better at certain aspects of the game. This is however not what I want to talk about in this article. I want to hit on other aspects that prove to be more important.

Ok so here we go, lets say we have a six foot two individual and he goes out and buys a set of clubs, and then along comes another individual and say he is five foot ten. For this instance let’s just use those clubs that come in a set that you can get at sporting good stores. Now what one must understand is that everyone depending on your height needs a different length of golf clubs in order to get the best swing possible. Getting the wrong size clubs can hurt you greatly in this game, hindering a lot of your abilities that maybe you don’t even think that you have.

This is a problem for a lot of people even when I first started golfing at a young age I could just feel that I did not have the proper size clubs, I just did not feel comfortable until I had ones specifically made for me. I am not going to lie though this is one expensive sport and the problem is that a lot of people go out and just by any golf set figuring they are all the same but this is not the case, to really get serious into the game and to see your true potential I think it is imperative to somewhere down the line to get a fitting. Of course it is best that you start out with the right clubs just because getting to short of clubs if you’re tall or getting to long of clubs if you’re short can hurt your mechanics tremendously. So if you have the money and time I definitely recommend a fitting to give you the best potential of success.

Golf Grips are an important part of a golf club. Golf companies manufacture golf grips for golfers of all levels professionals or amateurs.
