Golf Swing Lesson, Get into the Swing of Golf

Golf Swing Lesson, Get into the Swing of Golf

When I began to play golf I needed a Golf swing lesson urgently to begin my golfing career.  Well; like many beginners I had watched it on Television. It looked really easy so I was certain I had a well paid career ahead of me as a golfing pro.

The first thing I found out; was that you needed a set of Golf clubs and they cost real money.  The membership; fees to play Golf at the local Golf Course was fairly steep as well. I begged and borrowed and wound up on the first tee off; full of bravado and confidence. Obviously without a Golf swing lesson. I did not need any; this was going to be so easy.

Then to my horror I noticed I was holding a left handed club and it hit me like a train, all the clubs were left handed? I had been set up as a newbie. I was a complete laughing stock on my very first day on the course. I felt like a complete idiot. An acquaintance took me back to the clubhouse and hired a right-handed set for me.

Back on the first tee and ready to show these clowns what I was made of. I addressed the ball on the tee and I let drive with every ounce of strength and energy I could muster. Man this ball must have been Australian? It flew away from me at a million miles an hour and then curved in a big arc to the right and came back towards me like a Boomerang? I was flabbergasted. What Happened?

When the shock wore off… my opposition who was an Australian; said in a matter of fact tone; I can see you never had a Golf Swing Lesson in your whole life mate! He burst into uncontrollable laughter, tears of mirth streaming down his face, as he strode up the middle of the fairway to find his perfectly placed shot.

I was furious with myself, frustrated, gutted, embarrassed. I ran the whole gamut of emotions. None of which helped the rest of my disastrous first day on a Golf course. A day that I would rather not talk about or remember for that matter... One thing I did know for sure, I needed a Golf Swing Lesson fast and sooner, rather than later.

That is the next thing I found out the hard way Golf Swing Lessons or any Golf lesson for that matter were expensive as heck when you hired a Golf Pro. So the moral of the Golf story is:

• If Golf or anything looks easy; take it from me; it is actually very difficult; experienced Professionals can make it look so easy

• Do your home work first and find out exactly what you are getting into

• Watch out for senior Golfers, they like to play pranks on newbie’s and make you a laughing stock

• Get some good golfing lessons first

• Find the easiest and most effective way to learn about your passion

• Learn from other people’s mistakes

Today it is so different, from when I started; a lot of good information is freely available and it is easy, affordable and accessible to get really good golf lessons. I wish we had all this good stuff available when I was learning. I would have got Golf Swing Lessons and things would have turned out so much better. I could have realized my dream to become a Professional Golf Pro.

So don’t make assumptions like I did. Learn from my embarrassing experiences and get the best outcome possible. No matter what kind of Golf problem you have, do check this great Golf Swing Lessons resource out now.

David Feherty Golden Ferrets 2009(II)

By: kitty | 04/01/2010
Who's the only player so good that when he's on he might be unbeatable, even by you-know-who, and so deserves an eponymous Ferret? That's right, Brian Gay. He is the best player hardly ever mentioned when people are talking about great players, and he has the ability to block out the world and play his own technically superb game and win by shocking margins. Also, his wife, Kimberly (who, if you think about it, is his Gay lover), is a doll.

3M Championship. How sensational was Bernhard Langer's chip-in for eagle on the final hole of this Champions tour event in Minneapolis? After his hard-rolling ball hit the back of the cup, popped several inches into the air and dropped in, the normally stoic German unleashed an uncharacteristic barrage of emotional fist pumps and finger points. By: Tinny | 04/01/2010
Jim Furyk Jim Furyk hasn't won on the PGA TOUR since the 2007 RBC Canadian Open. This is more anomaly than anything else. He racks up top-10s the way that lesser players rack up cuts. He is a four-tool player (out of a possible five). Furyk will never be long but then again, he never has been.
