The best golf courses that Myrtle Beach has to offer
Myrtle Beach, as we mentioned earlier, is famous for its myriad number of golf courses. Lets throw light on few of them as follows:
North Myrtle Beach
In case you desire to head northwards on the Myrtle Beach for your ideal golf weekend, then one location you just can't skip is Barefoot. Well, that doesn't mean you can go around barefoot on the golf course! But it certainly indicates that the golf courses here offer you the same closeness to nature as you would experience walking barefoot! These Barefoot courses have enough challenge for both newcomers as well as seasoned pros.
Here, you have three excellent golf courses to choose from and may have to dig as much as $300 to $627 into your pockets for an ideal golfing weekend. The price range varies owing to facilities on board. Whichever golf course you may settle within the end, you are assured a fantastic time and great value for your money.
Central Myrtle Beach
Hosting 10 distinct championship class golf courses certainly makes the Legend golf resort located in Central Myrtle Beach an excellent golfing destination for planning ones weekend trip. The Parkland golf course in Legends, Central Myrtle beach is surely among the finest golf courses that you can ever play on. It is counted amongst the premier golf courses in the US and being blessed with a sophisticated natural terrain, it offers serious challenges to seasoned golf experts. During your play here, it is not rare to run into deep-faced bunkers or dense fairways with great number of trees.
If you plan to stay over during the weekend and are looking for the most appropriate package to suit your needs, then you can consider the Legends 3 rounds special. This package starts at as low as $55 per night per person and you get to stay for 3 nights, play 3 rounds of golf and are offered complementary breakfast and housekeeping facilities. You will certainly feel like a king with so many luxuries on offer!
Another great Myrtle Beach weekend golf trip that deserves consideration is the Litchfield Country Club. It's the only among the veterans that has maintained it's classic looks and hasn't given into the dynamically changing contemporary trends. If you wish to travel back in time and experience the class that golf offered 100 years ago, Litchfield Country Club is the place to be. However, the prices are little steep at $300 for the weekend stay.
On the whole, there are plenty of Myrtle Beach weekend golf trips to consider and each one assures a memorable and exclusively special experience.

How do congenitally pronated hips impact the golf swing
By: Don | 10-07-2008
I am an avid golfer who has recently encountered great difficulty attaining the final piece of the modern golf swing, to wit: a movement of the hips away from the ball in the downswing. My question relates to a congenital deformity in my hips, they are quite pronated, giving me a "knock-kneed" appearance. Several Drs. and therapists (I have had a complete left knee replacement) have assured me the appearance is hip related and has nothing to do with my knees. I am wondering how or if this hip situation impacts the golf swing, especially the movment of the hips away from the ball through impact.
