Pain Free Golf-Secret Of Stretches For Pain Free Golf

The secret of Stretches for Pain Free Golf is to stretch regularly for rapid improvement. You must do golf stretches daily and yes there is a difference. Golf stretches target the 2 main areas of trouble for the golfer; the lower back and hip areas. Range of motion is affected by any stiffness or pain from the hips or back. If your range of motion is limited in any way this will lead to golf swing technique problems. If I am not swinging right the ball is not going where I want it to.

Most average golfers do not put any thought into a proper stretching program. The truth of the matter is if they did it would lead to more competitive scoring. You cannot tell me that most golfers are happy to be on a nice course with a scenic view. Baloney! They want to be competitive. It's just that they really do not realize that stretching is the difference maker between the doers and the talkers.

Listed here are a couple of Stretches for Pain Free Golf that will have you leaving the aspirin bottle in the medicine cabinet.

The hip/leg rollover is where you lay on your back and one leg has been bent at the knee. Roll that leg over the top of the other leg and hold that stretch for 30 seconds. This stretch is an example of a static stretch. Static stretches are where you are stationary and you stretch a muscle and hold it for about 30 seconds. It works to loosen up the hips and low back area. Do this stretch after a round of golf not before.

The next stretch is a backswing stretch where you hold one arm out straight and grab the wrist area with the other arm. Rotate in a backswing motion as far as possible and hold for 15-20 seconds. Repeat with the other side for a follow through effect. This is an example of a dynamic stretch. Dynamic stretches are where you move; say your arm in a back swing, through its entire range of motion. These should be done before a round of golf as they warm up your muscles you will be using in that round.

Mastering of Stretches for Pain Free Golf will enable you to answer this question positively. Does your golf game cause you pain? Imagine yourself out on the course. You are feeling very fluid and flexible. Because of this you are driving the ball better that you can recall. You are playing awesome and you feel strong enough to play more holes. Your golf partners are saying “Wow! What has got into your game?”You know the answer to that is you’ve mastered the stretching program and have the edge needed to be more competitive than they are.

Phil had suffered U.S. Open near-misses at Pinehurst, Bethpage Black and Shinnecock Hills, and all he needed was a par at the 18th to win this Open, or a bogey to force a playoff. You know the rest. It was Jean Van de Velde all over again, only with trees instead of grandstands and a water hazard.
