GPS or Global Positioning System is a modern technology which is used primarily for tracking the position of your object. The object can be anything from vehicles to human. The invention of GPS system can be dated back to the year 1940 when the radio-based navigational systems was used for Long Range Navigation. The GPS as we know today is the evolution of the Long Range Navigation technology. However, the system was available to public until 20 years ago.
