Rounded Business Cards - Why Rounded Corners Are A Brilliant Add-On

Rounded business cards are but ONE option for breaking away from business card, well... monotony.

The question is, what makes it one of the best options?

Here are but a few great reasons that rounded business cards are one of, if not THE best off-shape options that exists.

1. SIMPLICITY

Let's be honest. The more effort something takes, the longer it usually takes.

That's not to say that more effort isn't often worthwhile. It certainly is. Especially when it comes to marketing yourself. But in the case of rounded business cards, the additional effort you put into coming up with a clever new shape, the time you spend finding a printer that can create the die cut for you, additional expenses, headaches, designers, and the whole nine yards... sometimes it's just better to go with something that's readily available.

And rounded business cards are certainly among the most readily available UNIQUE shapes.

2. CONTENT FLEXIBILITY

Personally, I love cleverly shaped die cut cards. But there's a drawback to them that doesn't exist with rounded corner business cards. That is, you can lose quite a bit of the flexibility you have for creating compelling business card content. I've seen cards that look like combs, microphones, hamburgers, light bulbs, and more. In truth... it's not especially easy to layout text on them.

As someone who sees business cards as  ADS (yes, compelling, response driving little advertisements) -- and not just contact cards that have a name, email, and phone number on them -- I see great benefit to utilizing the room on both the front and back of your card to SELL your prospects on you. Rounded business cards don't take this flexibility away from you.

In fact, rounded business cards have virtually the same surface area as traditional cards.

After all, only the itty bitty edges of the corners are rounded!

So there you have it. If you're looking for a way breakaway from the realm of typical... rounded business cards are among the best options you've got. They're simple, widely available, offer the same flexibility as standard cards, and yet they're MUCH less common -- enough to give your cards that added OOMPH, impact, memorability, and all of those other things you're going for.

And let's not forget, rounded business cards are often available for just a little more money. Not so with most unique and die cut shapes.

A good option? You better believe it...
