Speed Dating Success Digital Graphic Printing Invitations and Mass Mailing

Failed marriages, broken relationships, looking for a soul mate, lack of better options or just exploring possibilities --- whatever their reasons are, more and more people are getting into the speed dating scene.  Event planners are getting good gigs with the onset of this hype. More than anything else, what you hope for in organizing a speed dating night is good attendance with a good proportion of males and females, preferably with a good diversity of personalities as well for a wider range of options for everyone.  

Usually, planners would just advertise and offer registration through the internet. While these are both important, there are additional ways that you can use to generate a good number of participants.

1.    Make invitations

•    To get more attention, hence, better attendance, you can use postcards to serve as invitations to the event.  With digital graphic printing, you can have postcards with crisp images and clear texts that will surely make your invitations more enticing.  

•    With the postcard, you can show event highlights through pictures and add details such as venue, time, program, contact numbers, and website for additional information, registration and payment.  

•    To make the most out of it, you can make two invitations in one postcard, the duplicate copies being separated by perforations.  The other invitation can be handed out by the recipient to a friend or colleague.  You can add promos or rewards for referrals made.    

2.    Send out for distribution

•    Create a mailing list that includes individuals who are likely to take interest in this event.  You can determine the gender, age group, location, occupation and other particulars.  This way, you can come up with a good population of participants with varied backgrounds and interests.  

•    Send the postcards by mass mailing.  This is a convenient way of sending out the same document to different addresses.  But even if they are sent to many, your recipients will still get the feel that they are personally being invited to the event.
