When it comes to advertising and getting your companies products or services known, you are no doubt aware that you must implement some truly incredible marketing techniques in order to set your business apart from your competitors. However, there are not many unique and creative ways to advertise your products and services other than through television, radio, and print.
Most companies will rely on a mixture of the above in order to market their products and bring in new clientele. The methods of television, radio, and print advertisements are proven techniques. But if you want to do something to set your brand apart from the rest, then consider the marketing of your next product with aerial advertising.
What’s Different about Aerial Advertising?
With aerial advertising you have the ability of choosing who you are sharing your advertisements with, when, and where! You have the ability to strategically market your product or service to a group of people that you feel would benefit from your companies product.
This is especially true of smaller businesses that are set in a specific community. You can actually have an aerial advertisement flown over a well populated area in the vicinity of where your business is located. This is an excellent way to grab people’s attention.
The fact is, when it comes to print ads, people will generally flip through advertisements without ever taking the time to read them. The same can be said of billboard advertisements. In fact, some times people are driving by so fast that they will never be able to read a billboard advertisement. With radio ads people generally turn the dial and switch stations when an advertisement comes on. Likewise, the same is true when it concerns television commercials. People will simply switch to another channel or will use the time to use the restroom or get a snack.
Things are much different with aerial advertisement. It’s proven that when people hear a plane they immediately look up. They will actually stop and take the time to read what is written on the banner. This is due to the fact that not many companies take advantage of aerial advertising. Therefore, many people have yet to become accustomed to this form of advertisement, so they will take the time to see what it says.
What If My Company Is Not Local?
Even web-based companies and larger chain stores have gotten great results from aerial advertisements. Many websites will simply have a plane fly overhead with an aerial banner that only features their company’s website location. Simply providing a web address on such a banner is a great way to make people curious enough to check out your website the next time they get to a computer.
You don’t have to target people in the actual physical location of your business if you are a chain or web-based company. You can simply hit areas of high traffic like concerts, festivals, beaches, and even large sporting events. These types of events are perfect for getting your products and services recognized with aerial advertising.
