1. Don't stress. Stress wears the whole body out, including the scalp's will to hold onto its hair.
2. Sleep enough. Sleep deprivation accelerates the dying/decaying process, which includes balding.
3. Maintain a balanced diet. Eat food that does your body more good than harm.
4. Get at least a little sun. Moderate exposure to sunlight promotes strong, healthy hair. This is why beach bums tend to have great hair.
5. Have human contact. This is vital to maintaining chemical and emotional health, which in turns promotes hair-health.
6. Don't itch your scalp. This destroys your hair follicles. Neutrogena's T-gel and T-Sal help treat this. Exposure to sunlight also helps itchiness in the scalp.
7. Keep your scalp reasonably moist. People in moist climates have more healthy skin than desert dwellers. Washing your scalp too much will also dry it out. Excessive washing scrapes away the oils your body produces, which are designed to keep your skin healthy. Don't stop washing, of course, just maintain a balance. Also, when you wash, use moderately warm water instead of hot water.
8. Have good genes.
9. Have a pure heart (Don't sin). The decaying effects of sin will work their way out eventually. Spiritual realities dictate all other realities, therefore destroying oneself spiritually causes physical destruction. I'm not saying that naturally beautiful people are sinless; I'm saying that inner, spiritual conflict will eventually wear a person out physically. Spiritual impurity has an unnatural aging effect on a person's whole life, which includes accelerated hair fall-out.

The Matrix -- Neo Represents an Average Christian
By: Patrick Roberts | 01/01/2008 | Movies
Many Christians jump at the chance to equate Neo (Keanu Reeves) with Christ because he died and rose again and then went on to spread the word about gaining freedom from the Matrix. This is appropriate because he is prophesied as "the One," or as a messiah figure. However, the course of Neo's life also resembles the life of an average Christian. It might be more useful to view his life in this way.
