Best Hair Transplant Technology in New Jersey

Hair loss is a matter of concern affecting young and adults alike. The hair loss is a subjective phenomenon and there may be a lot of causes which could be attributed for this.

There are many potential forms and causes of hair loss ranging from genetics, skin conditions, medical illness, stress, dietary deficiencies, to immune disorders. Consulting with a medical doctor who specializes in hair loss is often necessary to determine the cause and most effective treatment.

When a hair loss condition has become permanent it can be treated with surgical hair restoration or hair transplantation.

A medical hair restoration procedure is all about creating an illusion on density of one's hair. Let's put it this way, our scalp consists of two important segments viz, donor area where the hair density is high and thinning areas where hairs have ceased to generate.

A typical hair transplant procedure relocates hair follicles from the donor to the thinning areas. This is done through application of local anesthesia so that the patients do not feel the pain. Once the area gets frozen, the doctor removes the donor strip and closes the area with sutures. The follicular units of the donor section are dissected under microscopes. The expert technicians then create grafts which are placed into recipient incision made in the bald scalp by the surgeon. This method is known as follicular unit hair transplantation.

Hair transplant procedures work differently for different hair types. A person with high density of hair may require less follicular transplantation than a person with thin hairs to achieve similar results. Hair transplantation is a technically complex procedure and you would better opt in for a quality clinic with highly trained staffs to get treatment. New Jersey and neighboring New York City are well known for some of the world’s best hair transplantation specialists.
