Hair Loss Diet, Diet Recommended in Hair Growth

Hair loss is a common, emotionally devastating experience in life because it affects the majority of people at one time or another in their lives. Many men are suffering baldness in silence because they are afraid to admit their undue concern over their hair; women are more traumatized than men because their hair loss is often perceived as abnormal by society.

The most common form of hair loss in both men and women is androgenic alopecia (also known as androgenetic alopecia.) In males, this condition is known as male-pattern baldness because there is a well-defined pattern of lost hair -- over time the hairline recedes forming the "M" shape. Hair does not only recede but also becomes thinner, often progressing to total baldness.

Drink at least one to two liters of water a day. When purchasing meats, check to make sure there are no added hormones. Stop buys foods that have preservatives to give them a longer shelf life, start eating organic people. Also switch from white bread to whole wheat and make sure you consume enough whole grains and fiber every day. This diet change should promote better circulation which means more blood flow to the scalp.

One of the key vitamins that helps prevent hair loss is called biotin. This vitamin is found in foods such as green peas, soybeans and sunflower seeds. If you want to make sure that your body is able to get enough biotin to prevent hair loss you should avoid very high protein diets. Stay away from things like raw eggs and protein powders. Using a shampoo that contains biotin can be helpful to ensure that you always get enough of this vitamin.

The intake of protein is very vital to the hair, as the hair mainly comprises of proteins. The foods that are rich in protein are wheat germs, calves liver and brewer’s yeast. Granulated lecithin besides being rich in proteins also contains Vitamin B in plenty.

There are a number of other nutrients that your hair needs in order to be healthy. Most of these vitamins and nutrients can be found in complex carbohydrates, such as fruits, vegetable and whole grains. They will all offer you important vitamins and antidioxidants that both your body, and your hair, need in order to be healthy.

The best way to stay healthy is to eat right. You can also try another natural remedy for hair loss by drinking cucumber juice every day which will provide your hair with silica which is essential for healthy hair. You may also want to try out Aloe Vera jelling and applying it directly on the scalp for twenty minutes before rinsing and do this twice in a week. This is one easy remedy for hair loss which will prove beneficial to the hair and also helps the healing of the scalp and balancing pH level thus making the scalp more conducive for growing hair.
