In the vast majority of cases, hair loss is irreversible and effective solutions are few including an amazing new natural one (more on that later in this article). This is one of the reasons that has encouraged many folks to embrace their sudden lack of hair rather than try to fight it.
Here's how they usually do this. Many men and even women are now increasingly favoring the clean-shaven look, where all hair is removed giving a chic shiny-head modern look. It is interesting how so many celebrities these days have gone for the clean-shaven look ranging from movie stars to many other prominent, well known personalities.
This has helped this trend gather popularity rather quickly and today it is acceptable to most. We even now have a very popular website that bravely proclaims; "Let the skin proceed when the hair recedes". The site inspires and encourages the clean-shaven look and even shows you some of the possibilities you can consider to suite your personality and looks.
The site that has been a great encouragement to women worldwide at the same time encourages them to define beauty on their own terms. One of the ways that it is suggested this is done is by opting for the increasingly popular clean-shaven-scalp-look.
This fad has been a breath of fresh air for many victims of hair loss who had previously lost all hope of ever looking good again in their life time. Chic baldness has literally given them a new lease of life. You too can consider this look when faced with serious loss of hair. It really does not matter whether your hair loss condition is temporary or permanent.
The important first step is to accept your situation and then bravely vow to work your way forward from there by looking for a way out of the problem. Too many people find themselves frozen in the horror of losing their hair, and remain so distressed for long periods that they can't even think straight.
Incidentally for those who still can never dream of being seen in public hairless, there are some natural hair products that have shown great promise where everything else has failed. Some have recorded some amazing results in helping people grow hair again. In some tests carried out, whole localized areas have seen a complete recovery in hair growth.
Still one needs to be very cautious because not all natural products have been successful. It is important that you start off by first confirming that the product you are dealing with is indeed natural as promoters keen to sell their products will often label them natural, when in actual fact they are not. It is also advisable to opt for a natural product whose genuine independent test results you can get you hands on.

Selenium and zinc for medicine induced hair loss?
By: camjjmj | 27-08-2008
I'm loosing hair. It comes out both as individual strands and in locks. I believe the hair loss is all over, but of course I notice it the most around my hair line. I suspect that my medication might be to blame. I began taking Lamictal right after my son was born. Initially I attributed the hair loss to normal post partum hair loss but it didn't stop. My son is now 8, I'm hardly post partum. I've read suggestions that selenium and zinc deficiancy in relationship tp medication could be to blame. So my question: Is there any real studies indicating that selenium and zinc supliments can help?

I need to know how to attach a wiglet by braiding ...
By: rita | 31-07-2008
I need to know how to attach a wiglet by braiding and sewing. My mom lost the hair on the top of her head. She wears a wiglet attached with bobbi pins to wringlet curls made out of her remaining hair. It is not very secure. I once saw a documentary on TV showing a cancer patient. They made a braid around her head, then sewed a hairpiece to the braid allowing her to cut, style, and blowdry her hair which snuggly stayed in place for months. Does anyone have instructions, a video. or photo's of this procedure?
