You may have the most lustrous, healthy and strong hair. When you walk, you hair sways and gets back in shape even it has been hit by the wind. In photos and videos, you may look like a model of hair shampoo. However, despite having all of these when you are exposed to too much stress, you can face various hair problems.
Alopecia or hair loss is one of the main reasons why people face problems. In terms of laymen, we call it baldness. Both male and female encounter this kind of problem. Although its highest incidence occurs on the male species, it can be very tedious for women. Your self-esteem may be lowered and sometimes you do not feel whole. For women hair loss, it can cause so much worry because most of the women will try to hide them. If not properly done, the bald spots may be accidentally exposed. However, most of the time not all of their hair falls out (unless if it caused by drugs or intentionally shaving the hair off). They sometimes occur in patches.
Why do this happen? It happens because there are certain activities that can possibly interfere with your hair growth. However, the main culprit in here is stress and poor nutrition.
Stress causes hair loss primarily because it causes imbalance in your hormones. The normal process of your body is also disrupted thus body circulation may be compromised and the growth hormones needed for your hair is halted. Stress in here is not just the daily activities that give us pressure but it can be caused by lack of sleep, medications or illnesses.
The normal hair cycle involves three stages. Anagen is the stage where hair is growing that occurs between 3 to 7 years. Catagen is the second stage, where hair is raised and detached from its blood supply. Telogen is the stage wherein your hair sheds out. Hair is easily pulled out in here. This occurs happens within 3 months after which you hair falls off. In relation to hair loss, presence of stressors can cause your hair to skip the normal cycle and directly goes to the resting phase. A lot of your hair may shed at the same time that is why you may notice increasing hair fall.
Malnutrition or improper dieting can also result to this problem. There are certain vitamins and minerals that you need to take so that your hair can remain strong. Once you eat less, women hair loss is inevitable.
At times when this happen, you need to see a doctor. Even though you know that you have not been eating well, you still need to have your body checked for other illnesses that could have cause you to be in such state. If it is nothing serious, you can continue having a healthy lifestyle or even look for natural products that can promote hair growth. You can massage these products on your hair but for the meantime, you have to do temporary measures to hide these imperfections.
