I own an Epson CX5400 which I purchased a few years ago, and about 2 years ago it ran out of ink and never refilled it. At one point I took out the cartridges to be able to bring them to the store to buy replacements, but never did and threw away the cartridges.Now, I just purchased only the Black cartridge for the printer and installed it, but I cannot print because the printer sees the colour cartridges as missing! Is there any way to tell the printer to ignore the missing color cartridges and to print only in black and white? I've checked most general options and haven't found it.
