Unfortunately, you won’t see these Sony VGP-BPS2A batteries rolled out to consumer electronics as soon as we’d all like: right now, they are only slated to be slapped into power tools, with a gradual migration to the realm of cell phones and laptops soon. And for my money, these new batteries can’t come to laptops soon enough.

Fair? I think it is. Café owners appreciate good etiquette from their customers in all sorts of ways. If you crumble your scone all over the table, don't sweep the debris onto the floor. If you use the last of the cream, tell the barista so he can refill it. And if you're going to use the free Wi-Fi your favourite café offers, Aspire 3000 battery, cowboy up and buy a coffee an hour, at least, and don't camp at a table or spread out like a picnic blanket at a summer concert when other customers have been patiently waiting for a spot. (And don't ever forget to tip.)
