The report of IDC clearly indicates that Exabyte VXA tape has established itself as a leading backup storage format in entry level tape media automation. An OEM agreement has signed between Fujitsu Siemens Computers and Exabyte. According to the agreement, Fujitsu Siemens Computers will sell and market the VXA320 packet-loaders and VXA-320 packet drives of Exabyte in the market segment of SMBs as the Fibre-CAT TX10 & Fiber-CAT packet loader. The reliability of VXA tape format is unparalleled and offers more resistance to humidity and extreme temperatures.

VXA packet is a patented technology which has been developed and intelligently engineered by Exabyte keeping in view the demands of the business enterprises. Data packet is a new advanced technology used in VXA media tape for reading/recording. Data packet is more durable and ensures faster backups with lowest operational costs and increased performance level.
