2. Camelback Mountain. Called as such because it resembles a camel’s hump, the vertical height of the cliff makes it well-liked by rock climbers. The recreation area is also filled with trails and water fountains, where you can enjoy some good fishing and other water activities.
3. Phoenix Greyhound Park. Join in the fun and win some prizes while watching Greyhound racing in the park. Both newbies and experienced bettors can all join the playing field.
4. Saguaro Lake Trail Rides. Love to explore the forests and lakes aboard a unique transportation? You can select any of the horses in Saguaro stables. The trail rides can actually last for an hour, but it’s more than enough for you to get out of the business of the city and enjoy fresh air and even the warm waters of the lakes that you get to see along the way in Phoenix.
5. Mesa Skate Park. You don’t need for the lake to turn to ice to skate. The Reed Park Skate Court gives you an opportunity to not only practice your skills and moves, but also meet new friends.
6. Quail Run Park. It’s always great to have a companion when you’re trying to lose weight or live healthy. You can bring your beloved pooch in this dog park. You can opt to walk along with him, or you can jog around the tracks while you keep your dog on the leash area.
7. Fighter Combat International. You don’t need to guess how it feels to ride in fighter planes. This place offers flight simulations to all those who want to conquer the skies and know what it feels to flight.
8. Manzanita Speedway. Be like the Speed Racer. The half-mile oval track is open every Friday and Saturday for those who love the thrill of driving vehicles in full speed.
9. Lookout Mountain Golf Club. There are a lot of choices for your greens, not to mention that you will have one of the best sceneries of Sonoran desert. The 18-hole course is ideal for the ones who want to spend alone time when on vacation.
10. Arizona River Runners. Experience the Arizona rivers in a very good way. You can ride motorboats or oar-driven vehicles. Of course, you can always choose to fish, snorkel, or swim near the shores.
