Losing a few pounds is what is on the minds of thousands of people at any given moment. If you are among those who need to lose weight, then weight loss motivation is what you need to get into your life. Many of us believe that determination is the key to losing weight and that is absolutely true. You need to believe that you have it in you to lose that extra weight, in order to stick to your outline plan. However, this is a health concern, so you need to consult a dietitian or a doctor before you begin starving yourself half to death.
One of the major mistakes that you can make is to lose weight for another person. Don't try and lose weight just because somebody passed a comment about it, lose the weight because it is better for you to do so. Our next enemy is letting the motivation lose its essence. Many people lose the motivation to get thinner, in just a few weeks. Motivation is important for any goal that you wish to achieve in life, and it is no different with your weight loss plans as well.
1. Make sure you own a weighing scale. If you weigh your self every day, the minute losses on the reading that you notice could well become a driving force to stick with your exercise and diet. It also gives you feedback on the efficiency of your weight loss program. If you do not see any change after a month or so you obviously are doing something wrong.
2. When you have a mental picture of a better-looking body that could be a motivator to help you achieve such a state of being. So try and envision what you want to look like, be realistic about it, and work towards this image.
3. Once you begin to see success with your weight loss plans, you could well add a few targets to the outline plan. Maybe you would want to get some muscles as well, and you could add that on your list, so that could be a driving force maybe.
4. Become calorie conscious with a food diary, and do not try and quicken the pace of your weight loss. You didn't gain the weight overnight and you are not going to lose it overnight either.
5. Try and consider all the health risks that overweight can bring in to your life, and use this as a motivator to get back into shape.
Remember that the healthier your body remains, the better will be the self esteem that you carry. Make sure you get a well planned fitness program, and stick to it. Do not let the slightest hurdle stop you from sticking to your weight loss program.

I also have a very hard time focusing and keeping a job, I have had over 12 jobs, in the last 8 years, Also had a really good job with the Government that only lasted 2 months. I really, want to do better and I even went to seek professional help, I was vapor acted, and given medication for depression Zoloft, and was referred to a walk-in clinic. I do not have insurance or a job. So I went to a walk in clinic when I was ?so called? evaluated , but a DR at Henderson Mental Health, the DR there said I only have anger problems. And nothing medication could do to fix it. Well, that?s funny he found out my problem in the 10 mins when he talked to me that is amazing, but it?s far from the truth. I know something for sure is wrong with me, and It is affecting me in a big way, I don?t feel as if I can get ahead, and I can?t even seek help, do to the fact I don?t have a job, I lost my Drivers License do to my issues and even, have marks on my license do to my reckless behavior. * Thing's that discribe me. How can i help my boyfriend with his blind rage ...

How can i help my boyfriend with his blind rage?
My problem is that last night my boyfriend was on the phone with me and his dog wouldn't lay down and go to sleep. The dog kept trying to get his attention and he kept telling him to lay down, still he wouldn't.So my boyfriend snapped and grabbed him by his neck scruff and tossed him into the bathroom violently. He didnt hurt the dog but he sat in his bathroom and spoke to me about it for hours. He opened up about past experiences with squeezing a cats head until it scratched him because it wouldn't leave his own cat alone. He believes he has a mental disorder because he described to me that he would never intentionally do that to anyone or thing.
I believe that because he is the sweetest guy you ever could imagine and he cried for the rest of the night over the phone with me because of what happened. He said it feels like a blind rage.Like you dont know that your doing anything, blanking out so to speak. So I want to get him help, and i promised him i would get him help. The thing is, we dont have a lot of money, and especially not 300 dollars to spend on an hour of psychiatric help.I know a lot about psychology but i dont know how to cure him of this blind rage habit. He fears he'll hurt me or someone else during it so we need to fix this situation.
He has kept that from me for a while.
He also has aftermath symptoms. Something like ticks... or spells.
His fingers do weird motions and/or stretch out and in and he goes to sleep out of nowhere, similar to a narcoleptic. If there is any advice on what to do, or where he can go in the Portland, Oregon area please tell me. Thank You.
Additional info-His mother was a heroine addict and he had an extremely abusive childhood which he blanked out. From a certain age up he can't remember. He was also in an orphanage and has problems with that. He's trans gendered as well and his family disowned him after transitioning so he battles that as well.
