The Benefits of Coconut Oil

Coconut oil has been proven scientifically used for centuries with amazing health benefits for people who have struggled with weight loss. Coconut oil is actually one of the healthiest oils you can consume. The amazingly healthy benefits of coconut oil have been rediscovered.

There are many reasons why coconut oil is healthy as an alternative to common cooking oil. MCTs or Medium Chain Triglycerides is the secret of coconut oil which that burn up quickly in the body. MCTs are directly transported into the liver where they freely enter the mitochondrion or energy producing element of the cell and are rapidly converted to ketones that are immediately converted into energy as researched by Y.Y. Yeh and P. Zee.


Coconut oil won't make you fat, unlike many other common oils, such as soy (vegetable) and corn. It increases our metabolism, not only coconut oil converts to energy quicker in your body. By stimulating the production of extra thyroid hormones, coconut oil improves sluggish thyroids; it could be great news for people who have thyroid problems.
