My son a - age 35 - has had several "symptoms" - low sex drive - swelling under the glans of his penis, low backache. His testosterone level was tested and was 53 - pretty low. He had torsion of the testicle at age 15 - repaired and then had a hydrocele hernia- repaired. Since then - til now no problems. My question can stress and/or depression cause sucha dramatic decrease in testosterone. We have had many losses in the past four years - plus he just married in November - and now financially he is under a lot of stress.
