Here Is a Method to Purify the Air

Air purifiers are able to do some of the work of purifying the air around your home or workplace and making it a little fresher but there is much method to purify the air.

Tabletop water fountains do a much more efficient job of filtering the air. They are quieter and use almost no power at all making them one of the most energy efficient air cleaners you could own.

Tabletop water fountains are pleasant to look at with a wide variety of styles designed to fit in with your existing décor.

Water fountains, with their soft sounds and gently cascading waters provide us with a sense of nature in our own home or office.

Why Use A Tabletop Fountain?

Some of the worst air that we breathe is inside the buildings we live and work. We are constantly bombarded with everyday chemical fumes from detergents, insecticides, pesticides and other indoor air pollutants such as smoke, mold and pet dander.

Daily cleaning takes care of some of it but not everyone cleans thoroughly on a daily basis especially when working a full time job. A cursory dusting does little more than put particles back into the atmosphere.

How Water Fountains Help

Water fountains act as air filters removing dangerous particles from the air leaving it pure and breathable. Water movement energizes molecules on the air turning them into negative ions. Negative ions have a unique ability to attach themselves to particles in the air. The particles become heavier and unable to float making the air cleaner.

The principle is seen in hillside streams or mountain waterfalls where the air is purer and the vegetation more lush. The principle has been used for centuries. Water fountains were great meeting places because people could think clearer.

The use of water fountains helps reduce incidences of asthma, allergies and reactions to molds and dust particles.

Strategic Placement

Where you position the water fountain will contribute to the effectiveness of the purification. Rooms that have a high fume potential such as the kitchen will benefit from a water fountain as will living rooms and bedrooms where dander may collect.

Place the tabletop fountain where there is a moderate air flow for the negative ions to take effect on passing pollutants. Rooms that have a large amount of  electrical equipment, such as an office or TV room, are a large source of positive ions.

Positive ions cause anxiety, stress and depression. A tabletop water fountain, strategically placed in one of these rooms will combat the positive ions with purifying negative ions. A room that has a high occupancy such as a living room is always a good choice.

Tabletop water fountains are available in many different styles and designed using many different materials so they will not be obtrusive wherever you place it. You will be sure to find a style that will match your décor perfectly.

Look for a tabletop fountain online that will fit in with your décor and is of the right size to benefit the room. Whether you only choose one tabletop fountain for your home or one for each room, you will begin to notice the effect it is having purifying the air almost immediately.
