How to Reduce the Appearance of Cellulite

Is getting rid of cellulite impossible? Well actually removing the cellulite from your body isn't all that easy, but reducing the appearance of cellulite on your body can be done. This article is going to focus on 3 ways you can significantly reduce the visual effects of cellulite on your body using exericse, body wraps, and cellulite treatment creams.

Body Wraps as a Cellulite Treatment

This is something you're probably not overly familiar with. Body wraps are a natural approach to healing and detox. You apply a solution to a section of your body (example, legs or stomach) and then wrap the area with a compression treatment. The body wrap supposedly works to pull the toxins out of your body where the treatment is applied. After treatment the appearance of both stretch marks and cellulite should be reduced.

What's the downfall to using body wraps as a cellulite treatment? Time, you need about two hours a week to spend in a wrap to get the results.

Diet and Exercise to Reduce Cellulite

There's lots of argument on whether diet can have any effect on cellulite. The answer is no, due to the nature of cellulite cutting calories and your intake will not get rid of cellulite. Exercise on the other hand will have a positive effect. As we exercise we begin to build lean muscle, this shapes and tones our body. This toning of the skin will decrease the visual appearance of cellulite in that area.

Anti Cellulite Treatment Creams

The cosmetic solution to cellulite is treatment creams. They work to firm and tone skin where applied, and decrease the visual appearance of dimples on your skin. The effort required to get results is very minimal and this is what attracts many people to this form of treatment. The downside to using cellulite creams is that you must continually use them to keep up the desired results.

Exercise is of course an important part of living a healthy life. If you're getting 20-30 minutes of exercise four days a week then you'll be doing a lot to fight cellulite. For those that want to see even faster results add in an anti cellulite cream twice a day to the areas where cellulite is visible. SO which cream should you use? That's a whole other question, and one that deserves research with the hundreds of creams to choose from.
