Excessive sweating is a medical problem - this sometimes sound strange but the irony is that for the person who is suffering from it - it is a real problem and there seem less or no solution for this! The general view of people about this problem is that it generates odor which is not socially okay and should be avoided.

Excessive armpit sweating occurs in both the sexes equally and age is also not a criteria. But it is noticed that generally profuse underarm sweating takes place after adolescence. Though everybody can be treated but more precaution is required when dealing with old patients. It has been noticed that people suffering from anxiety, tension, and fear of facing public or inferiority complex generally suffer from underarm sweat dripping. Though everybody has sweating armpits but excess armpit sweating is known to be caused by some specific reasons, which also include hereditary nature.

The side-effects of Excessive Underarm Sweat is often more serious than the problem itself. Obvious setbacks like physical discomfort, stained clothes, odor and unsightliness are but superficial issues compared to the psychological and emotional impact the disorder can have on the sufferer. Self-esteem, image, morale and motivation are where the biggest knocks are commonly taken. It can also be accompanied by excessive sweating in other parts of the body such as the face (Facial), hands (Palmar) and feet (Plantar Hyperhidrosis).

Due to the lesser attention paid to this problem there are not many comprehensive solutions for it. The research work in the medical field is limited for heavy sweating and therefore the treatments do not work on all the patients and many of them suffer from this condition even after the treatment. Though there are some medicated antiperspirants which are prescribed by the doctors but it sure is not a wholesome treatment and lasts generally for short terms.

Hyperhidrosis Treatments such as with Maxim is here at CORAD Healthcare - Maxim is a hyperhidrosis treatment. Maximis distributed by CORAD Healthcare, Inc. and is our hallmark product. Maxim is surgeon and physician recommended for excess body odor and hyperhidrosis.

Treatment may consists of many small injections just under the skin in the affected areas. The botulinum toxin stops the nerves in the skin that control the sweat glands from working. Treatment can take about 30 minutes for the under arms. Topical local anaesthetic cream can be applied 45 minutes before treatment to reduce the pain of the injections. Treatment for PB depends on the level and severity of the condition. Mild cases of PB may be treated with OTC (over the counter) anti-perspirants and deodorants and increased hygienic habits.

Excessive Sweating can occur at any age. Normally excessive sweating problem occurs after adolescence but there is surgery to stop sweating, which is described at controlexcessivesweating. Excessive Sweating medication at an older age is tougher as many other things have to be kept in mind like blood pressure, allergies and resistance. Excessive Sweating or profuse sweating can be cured with botox injection and drysol but these medicinal treatments for Excessive Sweating cannot undo the physiological damage that it does to an individual.
