When preparing popcorn use two tablespoons of corn in an air popcorn machine with only salt added. Do not add butter to the final popcorn. Alternately, you can pop one of the new Orville Redenbacher's microwaveable bags which have only 100 calories. With popcorn you always seem to get a lot of food for the calories that you are gaining. You merely have to be careful how it is prepared.
Let's face it you may munch on a few chips as a snack however they can never replace pretzels for an enjoyable food. Pretzels are low in fat and have fewer calories then the chips have. Make certain that when you purchase your pretzels you check to ensure that they are not the butter pretzel types or you defeat your diet completely.
