Tired of your boring and edgy razor to get rid of unwanted hair? Those sticky depilatory creams don’t excite you anymore when it comes to hair removal? Try this. It’s new and inviting. It’s the diode laser hair removal technique. As one of the permanent hair removal treatments, it is effective and with long lasting results. The technique is also called Diode Laser Epilation. In this hair removal system, a high power semiconductor diode laser beam is used for removal of unwanted hair in a permanent manner. The diode laser beam acts on the roots of the hair. Energy packets called photons destroy the follicles thus eliminating the possibility of hair to grow again.
One need not feel apprehensive before opting for diode laser hair removal. A visit to the dermatologist will clear all your doubts. He will make you undergo a skin type check on a Fitzpatrick scale and if your type is 1-5, you qualify for it. Generally, most people fit in this scale.
The number of sittings and treatment is entirely dependent upon the hair type of a person and density. On an average it takes two to four treatments but for some people it might take five treatments. The overall period for undergoing diode laser hair removal treatment works out to about three months.
While undergoing the treatment your skin is subjected to a laser beam which doesn’t cause any harm to the skin. They are controlled at every stage of the process by qualified experts to ensure that it acts only on unwanted hair. Also, the energy packets used for the process are too small to act on the skin. However, one should clarify and seek advice from the dermatologist before undergoing the treatment.
The process is not at all painful as compared to shaving and plucking. It generally feels like a mild 'pinch' which lasts only a small fraction of a second. Should a client have a high degree of sensitivity to the treatment, adjustments can be made to the machine to eliminate any such sensation.
The advantage of diode laser hair removal is that it can also be done by the person himself. Although laser hair removal systems were originally designed for use by doctors only, simplifications in technology have allowed for the equipment to become available to everyone. It’s easy to learn, user friendly and doesn’t requires any advance training.
Today, there are numerous diode equipments present in the market which are easy to use and their results are exemplary. There are numerous industries which provide appliances as well as free training to the consumers. There are appliances which can be used by the parlors as well as by the individuals.
This is the ideal treatment to get rid of unwanted hair on a permanent basis. At the same time you can bid a final farewell to your razors, pluckers and depilatories and even save on your precious time.

By: katielee102 | 14-04-2008
I feel like I am am becoming too clingy. This is something that I find myself doing with every relationship. I really want this one to be a healthy one but i know if i keep acting like this i may push him away. First of all, I have major trust issues. I think every guy is going to cheat on my and or meet someone they feel is better. I know I am an awsome person and that he is lucky but deep down these feelings ALWAYS resurface. My boyfriend and I have been togethr almost four months, not to long I know. The more i start to care about someone the more i get scared and become clingly and lose my self esteem. What can i do to work on this?? It causes me ALOT of anxiety and i sometimes get sick over the anxiety . I am hanging out with him tonight, silly me said do you want to hang out tonight or is that too much katie? (yes we hung out last night) he said if I want we can. So yes we are hanging out tonight, however now I feel dumb that I asked him again. What do i do, like i said i will see him tonight but i want to try to play cool and not come across as clingy although I am sure i have already. Is there anything I can say tonight??
