Natural Bodybuilders, as the title suggests, is all about building your body naturally. By naturally I mean without the use of any of the so called miracle pills or powders which seem to be flooding the market, or, indeed any other unnecessary supplements that are ineffective.
Many people who want to become natural bodybuilders are put off because they think they will have to spend a good chunk of their leisure time in the gym , pumping iron - this is simply not the case. Some of the top natural bodybuilding coaches recommend only about 3 hours a week work out time - that's less than a half-hour a day. If you are serious about becoming a natural body builder, then you will have to consider joining a gym - and maybe engaging the services of a personal trainer would be a requirement.
You can cut down your gym time, and therefore your personal trainer expense, by doing some home workouts. The most obvious one that springs to mind is pushups -these will work on your triceps and they are also good for your shoulders, as well as your chest. This exercise can be performed almost anywhere in your house or garden. Door frames can be utilised for pull-ups (make sure to leave the door open for this one) Grip the top of the door frame and pull yourself up until your chin reaches the frame - this one is very good for biceps as well as your upper and lower back. Sit-ups can also be performed just about anywhere in the home - these will help flatten your stomach and develop abs. Just a few ideas to help keep gym time and costs down a little.
If you're going to stick to the natural body building path, you will need to differentiate between supplements which are fine for natural body builders, and those which are frowned upon by the natural body building fraternity. Research this online or in one of the better bodybuilding magazines. I came across a very strange fact while I was researching this very subject.
