The word 'arthritis' means 'inflammation of joints.' It comes from two Greek words, athron meaning joints and itis meaning inflammation. It is a chronic disease process. Drinking the right amount of water, for example, is something that is not only good for the elimination of excess uric acid in the system, but it also prevents dehydration, kidney problems and other serious diseases.
Garlic, juniper, lavender, cajuput, sage, rosemary, thyme, or sassafras Any one of these oils diluted in the proportions of one part to 10 parts of olive oil and used to massage the painful joint will bring immense relief.
An effective home remedy for arthritis is potato juice. You simply make a juice from potatoes and then consume the juice. Yoga is also something that is good to help your body rid itself of any excess arthritis pain. It works to improve the arthritis medications you are no doubt taking, and in turn will increase the effectiveness on the body. Also it will work to relax muscles and improve blood circulation. An exercise that some do is that they will tilt the head forward and then rotate it to the right.
Cinnamon and Honey
Dissolve two spoons of honey and a small teaspoon of ground cinnamon in a cup of hot water and drink this - preferably daily. Don't worry if it's too sweet, just reduce the honey portion and the same with the cinnamon which can be reduced to half a teaspoon if the taste is too strong. You can also use this topically!
